Y200 – Benton Ferguson man reading bookplate
Product Description
This design, showing an absent minded reader, is one of about a dozen created by Saturday Review illustrator Benton Ferguson. The series, called the “Young Moderns,” was introduced by the Antioch Bookplate Company in the 1950s. Out of print for years, Bookplate Ink has brought back three of the designs. The “ex libris” text at the top means “from the library of.”
