W3L – Perched owl Pringle bookplate, printed by letterpress
Product Description
Introduced in the late 1940s, this owl design was adapted by the Antioch Bookplate Company from a steel engraving designed and originally published by William Pringle. The “ex libris” text in the open book means “from the library of.” It is one of our most popular designs. This version is available with your name added and is printed on a letterpress windmill press. We also have non-personalized versions and a personalized version printed by offset or high-quality digital printing. Click here to see all versions.
