W101 – Girl reading in tree bookplate, non-personalized
Product Description
Our customers requested a female version of design M101 and we responded! This is M101 redesigned by artist Evelia Sowash. The original design was created by artist Lebert Prether of Springfield, Ohio, and was introduced by the Antioch Bookplate Company in the early 1940s. Antioch Bookplate Company founder Ernest Morgan wrote the wording, “A book is a new adventure.” Evelia created a girl in the tree and made small changes to the icons in the corners to include Pocahontas in a canoe and a cowgirl on a horse. This version is available only with no text added. If you would like to have a name printed, please see our personalized version.
