M7 – Tree, helmet and mantling bookplate
Product Description
This regal design, introduced in the 1940s by the Antioch Bookplate Company, had two designers. The helmet and mantling were provided by armorist Dominic Pitoni. The tree artwork, by Yellow Springs, Ohio, artist Robert Whitmore, was the forerunner of the tree in design B252. The “ex libris” text means “from the library of.”
